Note: Country of origin: Denmark. Image: 1st Dibs. The Ensemble chair is made from Stapron N which is a blend of ABS and PA (nylon) plastics. The blend was designed to give good acoustic properties, a soft consistency, chemical resistance (coffee, food, alcohol), and good moulding properties. The design was created using air injection moulding, with air cavities created in the seat and back of the chair to create the right elasticity and improve sitting comfort. The Ensemble is possibly the first chair to be made using air injection moulding.
